I took some time today to really look at the crime reports on the website. There seems to be abuse of power by some Knight's. Knights that are new, and rarely seen engaging in any real RP. I'm going to use some names here. Not usually something I will do, but in this blog, I feel its necessary. All information I will post here is available for anyone to see on the sim website.

Knight in question #1: Extolion Lionheart

~This player started in sim on Sept. 27
~According to the website, this Knight has supposedly investigated and dismissed 11 crime reports.
~After speaking with someone who reported some of these crimes allegedly investigated, this Knight did not take the time speak to them about the crimes they reported.


Knight in question #2: Chriz Dexler

~This player also joined the game in sim on Sept. 27
~According to the website, this Knight has supposedly investigated and dismissed 7 crime reports. ( I would like to point out the website only goes back so many days, I've seen this name pop up a lot more times that 7 for dismissing crimes in the past)
~Same story, cases dismissed without all parties involved being interviewed.

I think you see where I am going here, without listing more. How can these cases be dismissed when the party that made the report is never spoken to? On appearance, it appears there may be an abuse of power being used with the crime report system. Not to mention, using an alt to metagame.

Now, don't get me wrong. I am not bashing the Knight's as a whole. There are some that do try to RP the crimes, and do their Knight role as it should be. They spend most of their time in sim trying to investigate and clear out some of the crimes in the system. How can they do their role justice if the ones commiting the crimes refuse to RP the consequences? How can they earn the respect of the sim to be able to do their job when others are abusing the system? It's not fair to judge the entire Knight's group on the actions of just a few. However, I think we can all agree that even some of the Knight's trying to investigate the crimes seriously, lost some respect for other actions they have commited in the past, that aren't so Knightly. That is another blog post in itself.
